weekendhikerSilver Peak as promised. This is a great hike. The trail is easy enough until you reach the base of the mountain, then its 1000 feet straight up a scree feild, then a scramble to the summit. It was about 97 degrees with little wind and lots of bugs on the summit. The views were wonderful and well worth the trouble.Jul 23, 2006from the photo: sil1

About Me:
41 and feel about 25! Been taking pics for about 25 years. I use a Canon AE-1 or a Canon T70 35 mm camera with a multitude of lenes. I perfer my 35mm to 135mm zoom lens. It gives me everything I need most the time. The disadvatage is the weights, probably over 2#'s and if I carry a trypod I have to give up a days grub on a 3 day trip. I will upgrade someday.
Interests:
Hiking, hiking uphill, hiking in the rain, hiking in the snow, hiking in the sun. Taking pics of were I hike. I like to bike, mountian bike, read, listen to music, play a PC game or two....
